On March 3rd, Florida House collaborated with the State Society of Florida to help celebrate the state of Florida’s 181st birthday and its addition to the United States of America. This soiree was hosted by The Florida State Society, a proud partner, which aims to build a strong community where members can engage, support one another, and celebrate Florida’s culture, business, and traditions.
This celebration had a large turnout of over 140 guests, some guests including Senator Rick Scott, House Representative Jimmy Patronis, alos with a multitude of congressional staffers, and Floridians who are currently living in the Washington DC area.
This event also hosted our current exhibit titled, “Florida’s Legacy Of Launch: Aerospace And The Sunshine State”, which explores and celebrates 75 years of aerospace and Florida’s role within America’s Space Program. The exhibit officially opened on February 11, 2026, and includes memorabilia from Cape Canaveral, provided by the Space Force Historical Foundation.
